~ DO YOU TRAVEL?

You bet! All over the UK.

~ HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

I guarantee to deliver you 300+ photos from a full wedding day. This can vary with how much you have planned for your day and how long I’m there for. If you’re planning loads of cool things with lot’s of cool people attending I will probably take a lot more photos!

~ HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

All edited photos will be supplied via your own private Pixieset Gallery where you can download them in high resolution. I’ll also send you a few of my favourite photographic prints from your day so that you can make a start with buying frames and hanging them!

~ TURN AROUND

I aim for 8 weeks! It can be longer in busier periods but I will communicate this if so. Please, please no messages a week after your wedding asking me if they are ready!

~ DO YOU WATERMARK MY PHOTOS?

Nope!

~ EQUIPMENT

I’m never really sure why people ask me this (I guarantee one of your Uncles will on the wedding day). If you must know I use Canon DSLR’s, Canon lenses, Mac Book Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop and store your photos on Seagate hard drives. I carry multiple camera bodies and lenses with me to ensure there will be no issues on your wedding day.

~ EDITING PROCESS

The way I colour photos enhances what’s already naturally there whilst desaturating a few colours, it’s how I give my work it’s individual ‘look’ (I’m not going to give away my secret blend that easy!). I give each photo attention to make sure they look right.

Trust me, I haven’t just downloaded a filter and plonked it on your photos, it’s something which I have created over 8+ years of using the cameras and software, photographing endless weddings, gigs and portraits to bring you something totally unique. I also don’t sell my filters, so it’s the only place you’re going to find that OG Haddock look. Take a look at my instagram for a true representation. The style is a little ‘moodier’ it’s not bright and airy like all those sun drenched pinterest photos taken in LA or Santorini. We live in the UK, it’s pretty much grey for the majority of the year and the tones I choose are suited.

~ INSURANCE

I’m insured through Simply Business. Public liability up to £1,000,000 and Professional Indemnity £50,000

~ WHAT USAGE DO I HAVE?

I retain copyright of all of my photographs. You will be given full usage rights. You can print, share, do whatever you like with them. Though, if anyone reaches out to you, magazines, suppliers, blogs etc that want to use them on their own social media accounts make sure they ask me first.

~ ON YOUR DAY

I’m with you for 10+ hours - that usually means I turn up 2-3 hours before the ceremony and leave an hour after the first dance.

~ FOOD AND DRINK

If I’m with you all day then I do need to eat and drink! I don’t expect anything extravagant, but something simple from your food supplier. Vegetarian/vegan meal would be great or a tab to buy my own meal at the venue. I also like to use the time when you’re eating to back up my photographs from the first half of the day. If a meal is not provided then I will need to leave site to get some lunch, potentially missing key moments.

~ HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

It’s painless, I promise! Send me an email and I’ll create a contract for you with all the information and steps you need to take to secure me for your date. I’ll send through a confirmation and receipt of the booking fee for your records and we’re all set!

~ PAYMENT & BOOKING FEE

The booking fee is taken to secure your date and is non refundable. This covers holding your date, our pre-wedding communications, consultations and the drawing up contracts. The full payment is due 2 weeks before your wedding date.

~ COVID 19 + CANCELLATIONS

If I test positive within 10 days prior to your wedding day then I will be required to isolate. I will do my best to send an associate photographer to cover your wedding. If I cannot find an associate photographer you shall receive a refund of all monies minus the booking fee. I’m all jabbed up and take precautions but most weddings I come into contact with 100+ at a time. I test before each wedding.

To photograph to the best of my abilities communication between myself and client must be positive. I reserve the right to terminate my contract at any point should communication be rude, disrespectful, demanding or against my beliefs.

If you need to postpone I am more than happy to reschedule to a new date once.

~ ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL

Depending on the location of your wedding and where I am working the day before I may require accommodation. I am happy to book this myself and add this to your final balance.

~ GROUP SHOTS & ITINERARY

Though I try make group photos as enjoyable as possible we all know they can take a while and be a bit like herding cats. Cat’s that have drank a few prosecco’s.

Every group photo can take 5 minutes to make, so please ensure you have set aside some time for the formal photos you would like. Whilst I’m doing this I cannot be taking photos and documenting those real moments that you’ve probably hired me to take! I will send you a questionnaire before your wedding day where you can list which formal photos you would like me to take and the running order of your day. I require that to be returned 2 weeks before your wedding day so that I have time to familiarise myself with your plans.

~ MY COMMUNICATION

I try my best to reply to emails within 48 hours, though at busier points in the year this isn’t possible and it could be once a week I get around to admin. Sorry, it’s just me running the ship!

~ SOCIAL MEDIA

I like to email a few frames from your wedding day to you the day after your wedding incase you wished to share with anyone who wasn’t able to make it or just boast on social media!
